ENGAGING STUDENTS IN THE MIDST OF A PANDEMIC

Capturing the attention of 'student passers-by' with a game!

2020 potentially changed student engagement beyond all recognition. No careers fair. No on-campus events. No ability to literally grab passers-by as they make their way through a careers fair or students union.  While teaching is a career for some, many don’t entertain the thought. And with no opportunity to engage those passers-by, we had to find a more digital route.

A game where people can win fortnightly prizes and compete against other universities.

JUMP. EAT. REPEAT.

We created a fun game (after all it’s been a tough year all round) to capture people who may not be thinking about teaching, but would like to win a £100 Deliveroo voucher – and just play the game.

So far, we’ve had thousands of players – and it’s great to see different students trying to get their unis to the top of the leaderboard.
